So, what do you think, our last snowstorm for the year, today? Barely got 1/2 inch, but everything shut down, and schools delayed 2 hrs tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

Just got some insider news that the Better Living store is supposed to get a shipment of shovels, tomorrow. Not sure if I’m gonna’ tell the Mrs, though. So far, 4 + years living here and I haven’t shoveled snow once! And they say this is gonna’ be a heavy, wet snow–definitely bad for the back!

They have now called a state of emergency for Virginia. Here in the Charlottesville area predictions are for 20-28″ of snow. Then, more snow Tuesday into Wednesday. Basically, everything will shut down for the next 2 weeks.

Got word of some closings already for tomorrow and one of my apts got moved up to the morning in preparation for this HUMONGOUS snow storm headed our way…12, 24, 36, 48 inches??? Remember, the weather man’s the only guy who can get it wrong every day and still get a paycheck!!

Already about an inch on the ground, predicting 3-6″ by the time it ends tomorrow morning. Albemarle Schools are cancelled for the 3rd day in a row! And some are predicting up to 48″ more snow this weekend??? This is the sunny, balmy south??!! I don’t even own a snow shovel anymore! And left my snow blower up in New Hampshire!
